Dish Towels!!

I've been on the hunt for a project. Necessary Criteria:
1. Must be simple
2. Must be functional, not just decorative
3. Must not be a pillow or blanket
A dress for Kaitlynn is in the works and if I get brave enough to finalize her buttonhole, I'll be able to finish it tomorrow. But for now - I finally have a tote bag for some of my sewing supplies. I didn't follow the tutorial exactly, not because it was hard but because to start off, I purchased the wrong materials. SOO I fudged the instructions just a bit but I love my bag just the same. You can be sure I will be making many more of these very soon!

I LOVE THIS BAG!

I Love it!!! So cute, before you know it, you will be a seamstress. I have to jump in bed, off to dr tomorrow in about 7 hours and then to s. cali. I should be there late sometime saturday night so might not see y'all til sunday. Can't wait to see all of you!

I love you,
Mom

It looks great! And not following the tutorial exactly is perfectly okay. I told you you'd figure out what works for you.

How's the dress?

Your tote bag looks great!
You do know that making bags are like eating potato chips....
One isn't going to cut it --- so I'm sure you'll be showing us another one soon! Sew on!

that's really neat, I am a begining sew-er myself, so any advice you get would be awsome, I have plans for some capes for the kids and a skirt for samantha this weekend, I'll post pictures on my blog, so check them out and let me know what you think!
